Light weight and Great comfort
First off, It came in 4 days EARLY!!It comes in the AGV box, has a little cover for the helmet, everything works well, no damage on it when I got it.It is very light since it has the carbon-fiber/fiberglass mix shell. The inside padding is very comfortable. The visor is super clear, almost like its not there and its great. The built in "sunglasses" interior visor works well and work will in the sun.Very happy with it.

It's ok. Not great. Has several annoyances.
Someone said it's lightweight? No it's not. The weight is average. I would have chosen a lighter helmet except this had a nifty integrated tinted visor. This leads me to my biggest complaint:1) Internal tinted visor that flips up/down. This is really the only thing that attracted me to the K5. All its other specs are pretty average. The lever mechanism is flimsy. After 5 or so uses the internal visor becomes harder to flip down. So, you have put more force on the lever. But the flimsy mechanism just bends rather than moving the visor down. So, flip open the outer visor and manually help the inner visor down. When you do flip the internal visor down, there is a gap at the bottom because it's about 1/4 too short. The secondary issue with this gap is the lens has distortion at the edges. So, the lower part of your vision is distorted. It's disorienting for the first couple of minutes each time I use it and makes me a little more nervous lane splitting because your brain distrusts what your eyes see.2) Main visor: This helmet is short on vertical visibility. The opening is not as tall/low as my other helmets of different brands. I've gotten used to it. But initially, it bothered me that I couldn't see down as low as I normally do.3) Anti-fog lens: If you want anti-fog, you have to snap an internal lens onto the visor. This adds weight and it diminishes visibility a bit at the extreme right and left peripheral vision because of the rubber seal around the anti-fog snap-in lens. Most other manufactures have an anti-fog coating built into the visor. This visor truly doesn't, as the first cold morning without the anti-fog lens my visor fogged up.3) The cushions are very comfortable, but fibers keep coming loose and tickling my face. I've had to stop a couple of times because it was bugging me so much. I took a lighter and singed all the loose fibers. It was good for 2 or 3 weeks. Now, fibers are tickling my cheek again.4) Last complaint is very minor. Ventilation is GREAT and it seals very well when you close all the vents. My complaint is the most effective vent, at your mouth. To access it, you have to reach inside at your chin and find the lever with your hooked finger through the chin seal. It's hard to do while you're riding.
