Tuff looking add on!
Bought the glass breaking tail cap for my old reliable 3 D cell Maglite that I've carried in my car for years. Also bought the Terralux TLE-6EXB 140 lumen replacement LED bulb and now my Maglite looks and performs like something Judge Dredd would carry! Fit is perfect for my older Maglite, but couldn't get the tail cap to thread onto my new ML300L LED Maglite.

Nice in case of emergency
This is one of those things that we will probably never use, but will be so happy we have it in case we need it. Whether it be to save our own selves, or someone else. This worked perfectly for the Mag-lite I own ( Mag-Lite ST3D036 3-D Cell LED Flashlight, Red ). I just had to unscrew the bottom of my lite, remove the little spring, install the spring onto the new cap, and screw the new cap on. One push of the button and it lit up the night. If you don't use the spring, your light won't turn on. That is what completes the electrical circuit.

"Sharp" looking end cap
Like most other guys who bought this thing, I bought it mostly because of its menacing look with no real intent of ever using it to break any glass of any kind. It's cool looking and if you're anything like me, that's reason enough. Now I said "guys who bought this" because I just don't know, and have never met any females who would waste money on anything as mean looking as this so don't stop me on the street and start yelling about how sexist I am because I'm not.... anymore. Anyway it's a perfect fit and if I'm drowning or just can't open the door someday I will fear no more because the point is very sharp and seems to be made of a hardened type of metal so glass will not be a problem I can assure you.

It works, way too expensive
Bought one for the driver side Maglite that is one of two that I have mounted in the cab of my truck. Would buy more if the price wasn't so inflated for a piece of threaded aluminum. It's just overpriced for what you get. If they sold for $15.00 delivered then I may buy 3 more..... but, I doubt they will come down to Earth with their pricing.

Sharp tip.
Don't be fooled by some of the pictures that make this look short and fat. It is a perfect cone shape with a sharp tip for breaking windows. We broke a few on a test car and a relatively weak, but sharp wrap on the window easily broke it. I was able to just set the tip on the window and lean on it and it broke. It is much safer than swinging the flashlight and won't bust the flashlight. This can still be used to store the extra bulb on a maglite as well. I'm very pleased to have this as an accessory.

DOES NOT FIT LED ML300L !!!!!!
Product does not fit the ML300L LED Maglite. Product is not as pictured; the taper machined into the tail cap is not as steep. The metal feels good in my hands and it came with a new o-ring. The threads were machined to a tight tolerance and fit good. The tip of the tail cap is sharp and effective. This is a good upgrade however it did not fit the flashlight I purchased it for.

Does not fit Gen3 LED Maglites
I love this thing, bought my second one for a gen3 LED 3D cell maglight. It doesn't fit. The threads are the wrong size. Please make one that fits the new threads.the threads need some sanding, or something, so I bought an $8 wire wheel brush, plan to fix their product when I get a round tuit. The sides do not fit flush to the sides of the flashlight, too small, sort of poor design. The pointy tip looks nice and could prob ably break through many things

Very cool tool
This is a very solid little tool and fit perfectly on my Maglite. They even machined a hole inside the cap so you can keep a spare bulb stored away (same as the original base from Maglite). One thing to be aware of, the treads are not as robust as I'd like. I almost stripped them, so be careful screwing it on.Wish I had an old car to test it out...
