The carpet is great, but it said it would work for a 10-20 gallon tank and it definitely was too small for my 20 gallon tank. I had to cut both pieces to fit correctly and then buy another carpet as the back-up so I could switch out the carpet weekly to wash. Probably my fault as I didn't do exact measurements and assumed when they said 10-20 gallon, it would work. Definitely recommend measuring your tank and ordering the carpet a little bigger so you can cut off excess if needed.

Just simply good. Clean up for my bearded lizard is easy. I wish they made the size to fit the fish tank exactly. No need to cut. Example: fit a 40 gal. tank exactly.

This is already tore up from our bearded dragon, the fabric is not reusable because it tears very easily. You might get away with flipping it and using the other side but I wouldn’t recommend it because I thought I could clean and reuse it for a long time. I didn’t save any money because the Zilla brand liners are more durable and they don’t even say reusable.

So we got two of these, and we switch them out every couple of days. This is my first lizard, so for me this has been a pretty easy solution. We rescued our lizard, and previously there was a green felt substrate that was supposed to be vacuumed on a regular basis. But with these mats, we spot clean daily, then use a water hose outside and wash and dry them. After a few washes they are easier to lay flat, due to the folds from shipping, so if you are able you may want to do that prior to the first use.

Mat is great and looks great. One it gets dirty, I wash it and it falls apart abs color fades

I was a new leopard gecko owner a month ago so I ordered a bunch of stuff. since then I’ve learned a lot and carpet is not safe. it harbors bacteria and gets stuck on their nails and teeth. I hate that so many pet stores and online stores sell them. try to get a bio active tank going or use paper towels/non adhesive shelf liner
