Colrasn 30ft Expandable Garden Hose, Durable Flexible Water Hose, 9 Function Spray Hose Nozzle, 3/4" Solid Brass Connectors, Extra Strength Fabric, Lightweight Expanding Hose

This is a great hose, but I didn't quite think my purchase through when buying an "expanding" hose. As the name says, it expands when the water is on, and then shrinks when the water is off. So if you're expecting the end nozzle of the hose to stay put (say, in a pool, or connected to a sprinkler), it's not going to work. As soon as the water is turned off, the hose will shrink and start retracting back towards the faucet.High water pressure is also important. When I turned on the water, the hose expanded to the full length, great! And then as soon as I opened the nozzle to start spraying, the water pressure inside the hose dropped so it started contracting, pulling the hose out of my hands back towards the faucet!So this hose is definitely more suited for some tasks than others. The built-in nozzle is fantastic and the build-quality seems top-notch. It's VERY light when empty and coils up nicely, not like my old nylon hoses that I was constantly fighting to get coiled.

This is the first expansible hose I've used, and I was surprised by its small size. It appears to be well-made, and so far it works fine. If I change my mind after I've used it a while, I'll come back and report.Later: I've had the hose three months, and it's sprung lots of pin-hole leaks. It's still usable, but it leaks a lot. I admit I haven't drained it after each use, as recommended by the mfr., and I've often used the nozzle or the stop-cock at the end to cut it off, rather than turning off the spigot, so that the hose has been subject to some pressure (though very little) when I wasn't using it. Still, a conventional hose wouldn't leak after three months of very light use. Taking away two stars.Taking away two more stars, mainly to counteract all those people who were so charmed when they first got it, and haven't followed up. I was charmed at first, too, but after only three months the hose is leaky and getting worse. I also don't like the fact that it's always under pressure, so you can't turn it down to a soft trickle to water a young plant. I'm getting a conventional hose.Even later: I want to claim the advertised one-year warranty, but there seems to be no way to do so. I sent a message to the seller, but Amazon wouldn't deliver it. They said they were very sorry. I'm buying another hose, and not from Amazon!

I had bought one of these lightweight collapsible hoses when they first came out, and threw it away almost right away. It was just a piece of cheap junk. But that was some years ago, now, so I was willing to give another try. I wanted two for my patio that didn't take up a lot of space. These came with hangers, that I didn't think I'd use, but I am. And the nozzles are actually GREAT - another surprise for the price. I am so pleased with the flexibility, the non-kinking feature of collapsible hoses, the affordability. Granted the hangers are just cheap plastic, but I got the green, so they really blend in, and they're small yet plenty big for the 25 foot hoses I got. I use the nozzles every time I water, and use a variety of settings, something I didn't expect. I'd buy these again, for other parts of my garden, when the time comes to replace hoses. I gave five stars for durability, and that's not something I can swear to; I've only had them for a couple of months. But so far given the daily use and appearance of the product, they're going to hold up well.

There are two things that get my goo..Hard hoses are one and I'm a gardener so it's a really big one. I have ordered several different kinds of this style of hose and, so far, I like this one the best. In it's resting phase it's quite short. Turn on the faucet and it expands as it should and the pressure at the end is prefect. I like my tools to do their job without complaint or having to argue (kinked hoses). This is a great hose.

My experience with the hose has been good, but, I have a gardener friend who told me how I had to take care of it. She warned me if I ran over it or caught it on something, the jig was up as the fabric would tear and it would leak. That said, where I have been using, and what I have been using it for hasn't lead to those problems. It has good flow, extends as described, drains and shrinks quickly, seems to withstand high pressure without leaking out the sides, and the turn off at the end where you are using it is a welcome new feature.As for the nozzle, you are not getting anything wonderful. After about 3 days, when I was using in on the highest pressure stream it got weaker and weaker until it just stopped. I checked the water and it was still on. So I took off the nozzle and had excellent pressure.

I’ve had these hoses before but they don’t always work as well as I hoped they would. I’ve been using this for a while and I’m really happy with it. The maneuverability is excellent, I can move it and do things with it and it goes back into its original shape so easily which I really like. I got the 25 foot because that’s exactly what I need and it works so well. I like that it’s lightweight and it will be so easy to put away in the winter time, it’s not like those heavy hoses that are hard to deal with and then they get you filthy when you try to put them away.
