ATP Pioneer Auto Trans Filter Kit - B345

this is my 2nd time changing my transmission fluid on my 02 BMW 325i, this filter is great, like the one i previously used and have no complaints. I bought this kit as opposed to buying filter and gasket separately like i did before, but i do no like the gasket at all, its a flimsy paper gasket, not cork or rubber like the previous one i used. If could do it again, i would buy a better gasket separately but did not want to postpone my fluid change in the middle of the job and wait to order another, the cost is not much more to buy separately and worth getting the cork or rubber one for peace of mind. So far its been about 2,000 miles and no sings of leaking, and i'm hoping it will last 60K miles like the last rubber one did.

Poor quality gasket. Leaked after a short amount of time despite torquing the pan bolts to the ZF recommended 89 in/lbs of torque in a diagonal bolt tightening pattern. I ended up replacing both the gasket and the filter with genuine ZF parts.

Product is exactly as described, well built and exact fit. Tip: lay the gasket out flat in a warm room to take shape before applying.

great product for the price, good quality and not a cheap rubber gasket. Dealer does not recommend to use rubber because of the swelling that is caused by tranny fluid which will eventually leak.

In was installed

Very hard to push into place, ended up denting the filter in several locations as I tried to wiggle and rotate the nozzle into the hole. Much lighter material than the original, but it seems to work.

Aftermarket filter with gasket.Seems of good quality, the gasket was all bunched up in the package making it much harder to install. It did it's job.
