KontrolFreek FPS Freek Vortex for Playstation 3 (PS3) and Xbox 360 Controller | Performance Thumbsticks | 1 High-Rise Convex, 1 Mid-Rise Concave | Orange

I bought these because I saw on reddit people had success using the 360/PS3 version of the KontrolFreeks for their Razer Wolverine. I had an Elite controller for over 2 years and the left stick was starting to drift up constantly. Very annoying and apparently was a common problem along with rubber grips falling off. The Wolverine controller has larger sticks vs. regular Xbone controllers so my other KontrolFreeks wouldn't fit. These versions fit really well and only require a small "push" on the top of them to fit them to the Wolverine Sticks. I am glad these were able to fit as I hated going back to shorter sticks. Felt like I lost a lot of precision and had to turn down my sensitivity for certain games. Highly recommend to anyone who has similar problems to me or is playing on a 360 or PS3.

I absolutely love the KontrolFreek FPS Vortex. The left and right sticks are different, so I have broken down each separately.Right stick:The convex shape and taller design of the right stick is perfect for faster and more accurate controls. It rolls really smoothly under your thumb, which I like a lot better than the concave shape of other models. If you've never played with KFs before, you will also instantly notice a difference in the control you have, especially when you increase the sensitivity.Left stick:The concave and shorter design of the left is perfect for CQC, but also for general play. The tall stick is too much for me on the left stick, so this one adds just enough to be comfortable without over-compensating. I also like how my thumb fits into the concave shape.Overall:I've only logged a few hours so far, but I also really like the feel of the rubber. The stock PS3 sticks start to get a little slippery after a while, and these fix that entirely, plus it just feels good.The one important note for PS3 users is that if you don't pay attention as you install the left stick, the tab underneath can get caught on the raised edge of the body of the controller as you play. It's an easy fix to make sure you position it correctly as you install it, but worth noting. The right stick can potentially do this as well, though it's unlikely you'll notice. (See pictures for a visual)All in all, though they're a little pricey, I love these and highly recommend them. They may not be magic, but the KF FPS Vortex have all the right elements to up your game on your FPS of choice.Pros:- Higher accuracy- Great "thumb feel"Cons:- Expensive

I've also used the green QCQ freeks which I also liked especially for smaller maps and shotguns/smgs. These vortex control freeks are, I think, the tallest ones they make right now. One of them is convex which is the tall one for aiming, but the other is concave. Being a convex fan i actually put the control freek QCQ on one joystick and the tall vortex on the other. Works like a charm and makes raising sensitivity on COD much easier. Do you HAVE to get control freeks? No. SHOULD you? Yes. Absolutely. Do not expect a drastic immediate improvement, they take some getting use to. But I can almost guarantee you'll start noticing a gradual improvement of the way you handle the game. I've noticed a couple of kills I've gotten (instead of being killed) that i owe completly to the control freeks (And the time I've spent getting used to them). Get them, you won't regret it..

These adapters really do help with comfort although I found that that I didn't like the vortex's as much as the Classic CQC ones because they have a lip on the outside which isn't as comfortable as the completely round CQC's. The main reason I bought these though is to protect the stock rubber on the ps4 analog sticks which rip so when I got new controls I bought these with them.These vortex's come with a tall thumbstick and a short thumbstick I enjoy them better than the stock feel for sure! It took awhile to get used to especially the taller thumbstick, but I got used to them. I actually like the taller thumbsticks so much that I am planning on ordering the KontrolFreek snipers soon which are round like the CQC classics but are both tall. My son has the CQC classics which are the short version and he loves them, but hates the taller sticks. It might be his hand size I'm not sure I've asked him before specifically what it was he just says they fell weird.Tip: If you're planning to buy 2 of these I would recommend going to the kontrolfreek website they sell a 3 pack for about 35$ with different sets if you sign up for their newsletter you get 10% off so, basically you buy 2 get 1 free set.WARNING! THESE WILL NOT WORK ON ANALOG STICKS IF THE RUBBER IS ALREADY TORN. I'm sure you could rig it somehow to work, but they need that extra rubber to actually clasp on correctly.

These Kontrol Freeks are very good at first I thought they where not going to have a lot of grip but they actually do. Amazing product overall.(If your wondering if they help with aim and KD in the Call Of Duty Franchise they actually do. My main game is Bo2 I already used Kontrol Freeks so it just took me a half game to get used to but they actually improve your aim I usually do decent not amazing but my third game on I went 30-2 in TDM and recently I barely get a negative KD. So if your looking to boost your aim and KD these are for you)

Complete waste of money these things dont change anything about your gameplay besides making you think your game is better do not buy, practice more.

I'd honestly love these, but they don't fit well and they are continuously falling off during gameplay. I do have a set for my PS4 and they work great! I don't know what the deal is and why they don't work correctly for the Xbox 360 controllers tho.

produit conforme et efficace pour ma manette x box one. le système de maintien est efficace et offre une bonne précision de jeu. ce kit contient deux capuchons de forme différente, l'un concave ou bosselé, l'autre est plat et peut être de deux positions différentes selon vos usages. les deux ne glissent pas grâce à un bon grip. je recommande ce kit de bonne facture.

Magníficos. Hace mucho que los uso y no puedo jugar sin ellos. Ayuda a ser más preciso en los shooters. Eso si, requiere un poco de práctica. Lo recomiendo aun siendo caro para ser un trozo de plástico...

I have a razer wolverine tournament edition and initially made the mistake of buying kontrol freeks for a xbox one controller but they were too small. These xbox360/ps3 kontrolfreeks fit the razer controllers perfectly!
